The Piccolo service is NOT free. Choosing a monthly or annual subscription is part of the app registration process. Either subscription option includes a free month to evaluate the full service.

A monthly (or annual) purchase will be applied to your iTunes account automatically at the end of the one-month trial period. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime with your iTunes account settings.
